Powder rooms may be small in size but not in style. Don’t be afraid to show off your personal taste and select unique features. Of course functionality, location and size are important considerations when designing or remodeling a powder room. Is the powder room being used daily by the family or is it for guests mostly? Where is it  located- is it visible to daily traffic flow or off a main hallway? If the powder room is visible to most, here’s your chance to showcase your style. Typically powder rooms are small spaces and often narrower  in older homes- 5 X6 wide- consisting of a toilet and sink at minimum.

Keeping functionality and usage as the primary goals, enhance this room with fun details like custom built vanities with rich marble tops ( perfect for storing the essentials) , ornate side sconces, a one-of a kind mirror, an overhead chandelier, unique back splash tiles, an unusual vessel sink, and wallpaper/bold paint colors that wows all those  briefly visiting this space. Wallpaper is definitely making a comeback when redesigning the powder room and because the space is smaller you can even upgrade your selections without feeling guilty!
